Weather Cancels Saturday’s Open House at the PSTA

Rockville - - - Sometimes you just can’t outmaneuver Mother Nature. Due to the predicted inclement weather forecast for Saturday, October 29th, the Open House scheduled at the Public Safety Training Academy has been postponed.
Now is the time to get your home ready for the colder months ahead. Residents are urged to visit the department’s website for tips on home safety, emergency preparedness and important smoke alarm information. With the days getting shorter, also make sure outdoor lighting is adequate. Good lighting can help reduce the risk of falls or accidents caused by darkness and also serve to deter crime.
