From Washington DC and Virginia

1. Take I-495 towards Rockville.
2. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay in the right lane and take I-270 North.
3. Take the Falls Road Exit (#5), and stay in your right lane.
4. Go thru traffic signal and you will be on Maryland Avenue.
5. Turn right onto E. Jefferson Street (Route 28 East).
6. Make first right into COB parking garage at traffic light at Monroe Street intersection (paid visitor parking available on first level).
7. Take stairs one floor up to entrance next to fish pond.
   
   For Disabled Entry into the COB from the COB Public Parking Garage (including wheelchairs or scooters): 
   
   A. Using the Elevator in the Public Parking Garage

   1. To Enter the COB through first floor automatic doors (accommodates wheelchairs/scooters):

   In the public parking garage, take the elevator up one floor to Level C/D. On leaving the elevator turn right and head to walkway with fish pond. At the bottom of the fish pond, make an immediate right onto downward sloped walkway. Turn left onto the sidewalk and into the building through automatic glass doors. Turn left and follow hallway to elevators.

   2. To Enter the COB through second floor at fish pond/security guard canopy entrance (has three indoor steps and does not accommodate wheelchairs or scooters):

   In the public parking garage, take the elevator up one floor to Level C/D. On leaving the elevator turn right and head to walkway with fish pond. Follow the covered walkway into the building. Take three steps to the main hallway and turn right to approach elevators.

   
   B. Using the Sidewalk Outside of the Public Parking Garage Entrance

   1. To Enter the COB through first floor automatic doors (accommodates wheelchairs and scooters):

   In the public parking garage, exit the garage to the left of the kiosk. Follow the sidewalk to the left, straight to and through the automatic glass doors. Turn left and follow hallway to elevators.

   2. To Enter the COB through second floor at fish pond/security guard canopy entrance (has three indoor steps and does not accommodate wheelchairs or scooters):

   In the public parking garage, exit the garage to the left of the kiosk. Follow the sidewalk to the left. Make the first left and go up an incline to the base of the fish pond. Turn right and follow the covered walkway into the building. Take three steps to the main hallway and turn right to approach elevators.

   1. Take I-495 towards Rockville.
   2. At the I-495/I-270 split, stay in the right lane and take I-270 North.
   3. Take the Falls Road Exit (#5), and stay in your right lane.
   4. Go thru traffic signal and you will be on Maryland Avenue.
   5. Turn right onto E. Jefferson Street (Route 28 East).
   6. Make first right into COB parking garage at traffic light at Monroe Street intersection (County fueling station).  Make immediate right (before the entrance to visitor parking).  Passengers can be discharged at the assigned spot.
   

From Metro

1. Red line train toward Shady Grove.
2. Exit at the Rockville Station.
3. Turn left after exiting the turnstiles and go up the steps to the pedestrian bridge.  Continuing walking until you come to Maryland Avenue.  Turn left, cross at next light (intersection of Jefferson St. and Maryland Ave.).  The Council Office Building is the building immediately in front of you on the left

From Frederick and West Virginia

1. Take I-270 South.
2. Take Falls Road (Exit #5) - Go to your left towards Rockville.
3. Follow arrows straight ahead and you will be on Maryland Avenue.
4. Turn right onto E. Jefferson Street (Route 28 East).
5. Make first right into COB parking garage at traffic light at Monroe Street intersection (paid visitor parking available on first level).
6. Take stairs one floor up to entrance next to fish pond.

From Baltimore Highways

1. Take I-95 South.
2. Take I-495 West.
3. Take I-270 North.
4. Take the Falls Road Exit (#5), and stay in your right lane.
5. Go thru traffic signal and you will be on Maryland Avenue.
6. Turn right on E. Jefferson Street (Route 28 East).
7. Make first right into COB parking garage at traffic light at Monroe Street intersection (paid visitor parking available on first level).
8. Take stairs one floor up to entrance next to fish pond.

From Baltimore Back Way

1. Take I-95 South/West.
2. Take I-695North/West.
3. Take Route 70 West.
4. Take Route 97 South.
5. Turn right on Norbeck Road (Route 28 West).
6. Turn right on Veirs Mill Road.
7. Go across Route 355 onto E. Jefferson Street.
8. Turn left at Monroe Street intersection and make first right into COB parking garage (paid visitor parking available on first level).
9. Take stairs one floor up to entrance next to fish pond.

Note: Paid visitor parking is available at the first level of the COB garage at corner of Monroe Street and E. Jefferson Street.
