Mr. Montes de Oca is your contact to list your products. They may be listed as stock (purchased in bulk and warehouse here for resale); or special order (order processed as product is sold).

OBTAINING MALT BASED PRODUCTS’ WHOLESALE PRICES

Once Gus Montes de Oca, Chief of Operations, approves your beer for sale in Montgomery County, we can provide you with our wholesale price of your product. The wholesale price is comprised of the laid-in cost plus excise tax, freight and our markup.

NOTIFYING US OF PRICE CHANGES ON MALT BASED PRODUCTS

If you change your selling price on any item(s) you have filed with Montgomery County, that price change information should be received by the County no later than 30 days before the change takes effect.

This allows the County adequate time to notify the license-holder by monthly newsletter. Price changes received with less time than required may not be honored until the following month.

NOTIFYING US OF PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNTS ON MALT BASED PRODUCTS

If you plan to offer promotions and discounts on products you have filed with Montgomery County, that promotion and discount information should be received by the County no later than 30 days before the change takes effect.

This allows the County adequate time to notify the license-holder by monthly newsletter. Promotions and discounts received with less time than required may not be passed on to the license-holder.

SELLING YOUR MALT BASED PRODUCTS TO LICENSE-HOLDERS

Malt-based products are sold to both on- and off-premise accounts as permitted by the class of license. Once you have obtained your Montgomery County Solicitor’s Permit, you are free to call on accounts.

Stock Sales

You may call on accounts to encourage them to purchase your stock products. The license-holder, however, must actually place their stock order with Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control. You may not place the order for them, nor can you pay for any order a licensee places.

Special Order Sales

You may call on accounts to encourage them to purchase your special order products. License-holders may place their order in several ways:

• License-holders may call Customer Service directly

• License-holders may email Customer Service Directly

• You may bring an order signed by the license-holder to Customer Service

• You or the license-holder may FAX an order signed by the license-holder to 240-777-1953

You cannot pay for any order a licensee places.
