The PRRS Wellness Program consists of a discussion/lecture for all new residents. The group usually meets on Mondays and the nine topics reviewed are:

• PRRS Medical Services
• Immunizations
• Personal Hygiene
• Dental Hygiene
• Diet and Nutrition
• Lifestyle
• Sexually Transmitted Diseases
• Blood Borne Pathogens, and
• Tuberculosis

Residents are introduced to the individual topics and provided with current information that will help them make informed decisions and dispel common myths and misconceptions.
