The Department's Contract Administrator is responsible for acquisition planning, preparation of Requests for Expression of Interest (REOI), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Invitations for Bids (IFB), Public Entity Procurements, Informal Solicitations, Emergency Purchases, Bridge Contracts, Sole Source/Non-competitve Procurements, and compliance with the Local Small Business Reserve Program (LSBRP).

The Contract Administrator prepares and processes all contracts and contract amendments, and other contract actions; and monitors contractor performance to ensure contract compliance.

The Contract Administrator works with the County Offices and departments to ensure compliance with the County's procurement and legal requirements. The Contract Administrator also works collaboratively with the budget staff to encumber funds to meet all contract obligations.
