Pre-Release and Reentry Services (PRRS) welcomes visitors. Visiting cannot interfere with program requirements for work, counseling, etc. The only persons permitted to visit residents at the Center are those persons listed on the Visitors List. Visitors who have been drinking alcohol or those who engage in disruptive and/or threatening behavior will not be permitted to visit.
- All visitors are required to enter the Pre-Release Center through the font door and report directly to the Reception desk where they will be asked to sign in and produce photo identification.
- Visitors are scanned by a metal detector and any bags or parcels are subject to search.
- Visitors are restricted to the unit in which the residents resides, the dining area, and the central recreation area.
- Visiting is not allowed in the parking lot, in vehicles, or in the front of the building.
- Parents/guardians of underage visitors must personally meet with staff prior to receiving permission for the minor to visitor.
- Holding hands and a brief hug/kiss "hello" and "goodbye" are the only allowable physical contact in this public facility.
- No drugs, alcohol, weapons, cigarettes, lighters/matches, cell phones, cameras, or other contraband items are allowed in the facility.
- Appropriate dress is required by residents and visitors. Dress code is enclosed in the Guidebook.
| Note: Each resident has different schedule, so you must check with unit staff to ensure when you may have visitors.
