MCFRS On-Line Training Registration System

All MCFRS Career personnel must use the On-Line Training Registration System (OTRS) to register for classes offered by and at the Montgomery County Public Safety Training Academy (PSTA).  Access to OTRS will be provided through a single sign-on web page at https://ext01.montgomerycountymd.gov/ent/s2/otrs/.   This upgrade will notify you that you have been pre-registered for the class.  

The LFRD Training Coordinators will continue to pre-register LFRD personnel for all PSTA classes. 

Non-MCFRS Personnel wishing to apply for a training course being offered by the MCFRTA must contact the Training Academy Registrar by phone at 301-279-1785 or by e-mail at: kristine.fessenden@montgomerycountymd.gov

EMERGENCY VEHICLE OPEATORS COURSE (EVOC)

PREREQUISITE

Must be at least 19 years old and possess a valid Maryland Class 'C' License or Out-of-State equivalent, IECS certified, Firefighter I or EMS  Provider 1 . Obtain charge status on BLS unit. At least six (6) months MCFRS affiliation.

PREREQUISITE

Must be at least 20 years old and possess a valid Maryland Class 'B' License or Out-of-State equivalent, IECS certified, Firefighter II & Class 'B' Apparatus Driver for 1 year, 3 years MCFRS experience, MCFRTA Aerial Operator Course.
