Bingo

Who must apply for a bingo license?

Before anyone can operate a bingo game within Montgomery County, they must first obtain a bingo license. Only non-profit organizations qualified under Section 501 (c) (3), (4), (7), or (10) of the Internal Revenue Code, Title 26 of the United States Annotated Code may obtain a bingo license.

What is bingo?

Bingo, Keno, and Lotto are defined as any game of chance where players place markers on a pattern of numbered squares, according to numbers drawn and announced by a caller.

When must one apply for a bingo license?

The application must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the date you want to conduct the bingo game.

Process

Submit the notarized application, attachments, and the appropriate fee.
Incomplete applications will be returned to the applicant.
The license will be mailed to the applicant.
Personnel within the Licensure & Regulatory Services section are available to discuss questions during regular working hours (Monday through Friday) 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 240-777-3986.
