                     Child Care Resource and Referral Center



 

 Training Services:

 

NEW! Online training opportunity available for Montgomery County child care providers through the Prince George's Resource & Referral Center and NACCRRA. These courses are designed to help early childhood professionals complete annual training requirements and acquire training hours for those seeking a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, CDA credential renewal or in-service training.  Click HERE for more information about the training.

Remember if you are a child care provider in Montgomery County obtaining or renewing a CDA credential you may be elgibile for reimbursement through the Montgomery County Early Childhood Quality Enhancement Awards Program.

 

The Montgomery County Child Care Resource & Referral Center offers general and specialized training opportunities to child care providers so that they can meet the training requirements set forth by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Office of Child Care, as well as the Maryland Child Care Credential and their individual professional development goals.  In addition, we answer licensing questions regarding training requirements. 

 

Courses provided through the MCCCR&RC include:

  • Core of Knowledge training hours
  • Continuing Education Units (CEU)
  • 24 Hour Initial Training for Family Child Care Providers
  • 9 Hour Pre-Service Communication Course for Center Staff
  • Information Forums
