Computers and Wi-Fi access for public use are available in all MCPL libraries, with the exception of the Gaithersburg Interim Library in Lakeforest Mall, Noyes Library for Young Children, and the Correctional Facility Library. In using library computers, you agree to comply with Montgomery County Public Library’s Computer, Internet, and Wireless Use Policies. Please note that public computers in the libraries shut down ten minutes before closing.
MCPL's public computers have Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, and these Microsoft Office 2002 programs with the 2007 compatibility pack:
- Word - for word processing
- Excel - for spreadsheets
- PowerPoint - for presentations
- Access - for database management
