The Montgomery County Department of Liquor Control (DLC), as a "control jurisdiction" facilitates the wholesale distribution of beer, wine and spirits to over 900 licensed establishments in the county. Along with the sale and distribution of a controlled substance comes a responsibility to educate and support the establishments served to ensure the safety of Montgomery County residents and the vitality of licensed businesses.  The Division of Licensure, Regulation and Education (LRE) is one of the three divisions within the DLC.  Within this division there are three offices that work closely together, the Licensure Office, the Regulation Office and the Community Outreach/Education Office.
