Watershed Condition

On the map above, click on any colored area or type in a street address to see:

All county watersheds are monitored according to a defined schedule at least once every five years. The types and health of benthic macroinvertebrates and fish species sampled provide an indication of the condition of the watershed. On the map below, the subwatersheds are color-coded according to their condition. Click the "View Larger Map" link below the map to view it in full screen.

Montgomery County is made up of almost one hundred and fifty subwatersheds. The map above shows streams, tributaries, lakes, and other water features within Montgomery County, as well as the major watersheds (outlined in heavy grey) and subwatersheds (outlined in lighter grey).
