Support for the EMS Insurance Reimbursement Program

The Montgomery County East County, UpCounty and West County Citizens Advisory Boards have voted to support the Emergency Medical Services Transport Insurance Reimbursement Program. This is a reversal for the West County Board (Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac, Rockville and other communities), which in 2010, opposed the EMS Program.

The Citizens Advisory Boards offer advice on local issues and needs to the County Executive and the County Council. Boards are comprised of neighborhood/community, business and non-profit representatives.

Others supporting the legislation including the League of Women Voters, the Montgomery Democratic Party, NonProfit Montgomery, CASA De Maryland, the Jewish Community Relations Council, the Greater Olney Civic Association, Holy Cross Hospital, and Adventist Health Care.
