| Project Description:
The Plum Gar Neighborhood Recreation Center renovation will include space reconfiguration and a 14,312 square foot expansion replacing the present modular buildings. The scope includes the construction of an addition to incorporate an expanded lobby and administrative area, social hall, kitchen, weight/exercise room, additional toilets, expanded gymnasium, additional parking and site improvements. A key component of the site and building infrastructure renovation is to meet the County’s green building/sustainability goal of LEED Silver rating.
Keller Brothers Inc., the general contractor for this project is working toward completion of the project on time and on budget. The actual construction work started after the issuance of the Phase II NTP as of January 23, 2012. The facility went through approximately 5,271SF of renovation and added 14,312SF of new construction. To celebrate this great achievement, the ribbon cutting of the facility has been scheduled for July 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Please join us for the celebration.
