the design and rehabilitation of the existing Data Center on the 3rd
floor of the Council Office Building.
This project provides for the site selection, planning, and design of a replacement district station or combination of district station and substation facilities to serve the Bethesda Chevy-Chase area and portions of Potomac and Silver Spring included in the 2nd Police District. The
project provides for
the design of the rehabilitation of the 401 Hungerford Drive parking
garage.
This
project involves the
complete removal of the existing structure and the construction of a
new recreation center. A larger gymnasium and modern interiors will be
a focal point for the facility.
Phase
I of this project
provides for the rehabilitation of the flooring system in the Red Brick
Courthouse at 29 Courthouse Square in Rockville.
Phase
II will
rehabilitate the historic Courthouse, to accommodate programmatic
functions and requirements of current users and to preserve the
building exterior and interior.
This
project provides
for a
major renovation and addition to the Cabin John Park Fire/Rescue
Station #30. The addition includes the modernization of the
living and support areas of the station.
The
renovation will
expand
the Children’s and Adult collections, enlarge the Young Adult
area, and add program, group study, and tutor rooms. The
interior
of the Davis Library will be re-organized to provide more efficient
service to library customers.
This
project
involves an addition to and renovation of the existing Judicial Center.
The Judicial Center Annex is a six story building with one level
underground parking and one level mechanical penthouse. The Annex
provides ten additional courtrooms and administrative spaces.
This
project provides
for a
major renovation of the Glen Echo Fire Station and includes
re-allocation of existing space, complete interior building renovation,
improvements in all living areas of the station, and replacement of all
building systems.
This
project, located at
1451 Seven Locks Road, Rockville, provides for the design of an
approximately 103,000 gross square foot (GSF) Criminal Justice Complex
(CJC) with underground structured parking. This new project is proposed
because renovation of the existing Montgomery County Detention Center
facility was determined not to be cost effective due to the need for
significant capital expenditures, life cycle costs, and continued
maintenance.
The
recently adopted White Flint Sector Plan will be transformational for
White Flint with the Plan’s focus on Metro access and the
creation of an urbane and walk-able downtown. The existing and new
community will need important quality of life amenities intended to
support the robust economic development of the area. To ensure that the
area is vibrant and inviting, these amenities need to be implemented in
a way that helps to contribute to White Flint as an exciting
destination and to create a dynamic and sustainable public realm for
the evolving community.
