The EMOC project is a collection of 13 buildings that will serve the Department of Transportation’s divisions of Transit Services and Highway Services, the Department of General Services and provide a Day Labor Center. The facilities include administrative buildings; bus parking for 200 buses; bus service lanes; bus wash facility; fare collection area; bus service maintenance bays; parts room; heavy equipment storage shed; soil/gravel storage area; Highway Services bays; compressed natural gas fast-fill, gasoline and diesel fueling stations, and employee and visitor parking.
This project provides for the design of a new Department of Correction and Rehabilitation (DOCR) Staff Training Center of approximately 12,000 GSF at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF).
This project provides for security improvements to the Outdoor Firearms Training Center including perimeter fencing, cameras and keycard access system and a new ammunition storage building.
Renovate
and expand the 33,726 gross square foot structure by adding a total of
27,745 gross square feet on the main level along the front, back, and
sides and a partial second floor of approximately 7500 gross square
feet that will hold the elevator, meeting rooms, mechanical rooms,
storage, and a satellite office of the Gilchrist Center.
The Germantown Transit Center Improvements project provides a new facility of approximately 180 gross square feet of space to support the requirements of Ride On bus drivers.
This
project provides for
planning, design and construction of a new 28,294-gross square
feet 6th District Police Station and a new parking
garage to
serve Gaithersburg/Montgomery Village and vicinity.
The project provides
for a the
construction of a new 3 or 4 bay fire and rescue station, the location
of which is to be determined. Included in the project is the purchase
of associated apparatus including a EMS unit and a fire engine.
The
Plum Gar
Neighborhood Recreation
Center renovation will include space reconfiguration and 14,312 square
foot expansion replacing the present modular buildings.
This
project provides for a new Fire/Rescue Station in the Clarksburg area
and the purchase of associated fire apparatus. The new
facility will be located on a yet-to-be-acquired site in the vicinity
of MD 355 (Frederick Road) and Clarksburg Road.
This project
provides for the design
of a 33,000 net square foot community recreation center and associated
site of approximately 17 acres.
