Fleet Management Services is pleased to provide green fueling alternatives to normal gasoline and diesel to the public and the County. The County currently offers Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as well as E85 to the public. CNG is compressed from the same natural gas that is used to most of the homes in the US. E-85 is 85% ethanol (15% gasoline) and it is made from corn. Both fuels are cleaner burning, renewable sources of energy and reduce the nation's dependence on foreign oil.

In both cases your vehicles must be specifically designed to run on either fuel type so please consult your owner's manual.

In order to offer this valuable service to our community, the County requires that customers sign a waiver before fueling their vehicle. This waiver holds the County harmless in case someone whose vehicle cannot handle either fuel type uses it and experiences problems. To complete the process, print and sign the form and bring it to Fleet Management's Administrative Offices at 16630 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville, MD. 20855, 2nd Floor, during regular business hours. After completing this form, drivers may use a Visa or Mastercard credit card to pay for fuel at the facility.

Montgomery County's Fleet Management Services provides maintenance and repair services to a number of other agencies and governments in the area, including fire departments and local municipalities.
