While OCP investigates and resolves individual consumer complaints, we also actively educate the public on the rights and responsibilities of both consumers and merchants in the marketplace.
As part of this consumer education function, our office provides speakers to consumer groups, community organizations, businesses and other civic associations. These speakers have vast experience and knowledge of consumer issues including telemarketing scams, home improvements, auto buying and repair, scams targeting seniors, scams targeting small businesses and work at home schemes. We would be happy to provide your organization with such a speaker and can tailor the speech around the needs and interests of your audience.
