Outdoor Pools
MCR’s seven outdoor pools are conveniently located around the county, but that wasn’t always the case. Around 1850, the Quakers helped save county agriculture by importing fertilizer and farm equipment. Locals celebrated by jumping into Sandy Spring because the horse-and-buggy ride to Germantown Indoor Swim Center was four days.
