Open in 2011, Mid-County is one of our newest community centers and is located in the Aspen Hill area of Silver Spring. The Mid-County center is a multi-purpose recreational facility that provides a variety of activities and experiences for all ages including open gym activities, classes, programs, and special events.
Our objective is to offer activities and experiences, which provide our customers with personal enjoyment and satisfaction. Whether your interest is in sports, fitness, dance, music, art, or the opportunity to join together with friends and neighbors for a special celebration or social gathering, Mid-County Community Center has something to offer you.
The outdoor facilities include ball fields, a playground and tennis courts all of which are maintained by the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission. The center will offer a variety of classes, open gym activities, family special events and summer programs.

Go is . . . ancient board game which takes simple elements: line and circle, black and white, stone and wood, combines them with simple rules and generates subtleties which have enthralled players for millennia. Go's appeal does not rest solely on its Asian, metaphysical elegance, but on practical and stimulating features in the design of the game.

A twelve week program for high school girls designed to improve the nutrition,academic achievement and career development of girls and young women. At the end of the program, participants will be equipped with the tools they need to set life, education and career goals.
Youth Activity Club for grades 3 through 6. Meets Friday evenings
7-9pm October 5, 2012 through March 15, 2013. Activities include sports,
arts and crafts, bingo, movies, dj, games, etc. If Club Friday is full,
please add your name to the wait list. We've taken additional members
