Waste (trash) from commercial haulers and full trailers
are emptied by truck in the Transfer Station building.
The area inside the Transfer Station building where
trucks empty their load is called the "tipping floor".
The tipping floor is reached through the Transfer Station
entrance off of Shady Grove Road. The load is dumped
directly onto the floor of the Tipping Floor, where
"front end loaders" push the refuse into the top of
a compactor.
