Bagging

After the finished compost is screened, the material is ready for sale under the brand name Leafgro. It is available in bags and in bulk. Leafgro is so popular that the supply sells out each year.

Composting Material being bagged

Final form of Bagged Composting Material Bagging occurs at the Compost Facility. Bags are filled with Leafgro, and are then loaded onto pallets. Plastic film is wrapped around the pallets to hold the bags in place during storage and transport.

Fun Fact: Leafgro organic compost has been used to enhance the landscape planting areas around the Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, the Raven's Stadium, Oriole Park, and the Vice President's Residence.
