News:  Parking Meters to be Installed in Greater Shady Grove

With adoption of the County’s FY13 Operating Budget, County Council has initiated charges for parking on several streets in the Greater Shady Grove Transportation Management District (TMD).  Car Sharing Now Available in Montgomery County Urban Centers

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) announces a significant expansion of commercial car sharing services in the County at no cost to the County. Car sharing provides County residents, visitors and businesses with increased access to convenient transportation options that reduce parking demand and traffic congestion in the County’s urban centers.

Ride On and MARC Train have joined together to make your commute easier with a FREE shuttle from the Kingsview Park & Ride Lot (Clopper Road and Kingsview Village Avenue) to the Germatown MARC Station. Beginning July 2nd, this shuttle service will be FREE for everybody.  Service will run regularly during the morning and afternoon rush hours.

Did we mention that the Route 94 shuttle service is FREE?
